Lay the two blades and tip conveniently in front of you and pick up the ferrule in your left hand. Hold it by the threads so you can rotate it easily as you slide the blades into position. Don't worry about "seating" everything into final position. Leave yourself some "working room" by positioning everything about halfway into place.
The blades are identical except for the slots down the center of the blade. One slot runs from the point down, the other from the base of the blade up. Hold the blade with the slot at the pointed end in your left hand and gently slide the blade with the slot at the bottom half way down into position as shown.
Start the bottommost edge onto one of the grooves in the ferrule. The other blade will follow into the other groove. Do not try to hit both grooves at once, start one blade, then the other
Gently push the blades down into the grooves with a small piece of wood or other material to protect your fingers.
Screw on the Tocar tip and tighten with the wrench supplied. Go hunt.
