Bow and Arrow Practice
|
No matter how good you are practice, practice,
practice. This is the most important thing that will make you successful on
all your future bow hunting trips.
When practicing, make sure to practice in real life hunting situations.
Practice shooting from different angles, standing, sitting, on flat land,
and elevated. Also practice shooting with your hunting clothes on. This is
the only way to ensure that you are prepared in the field. It is too
common for people to practice shooting in controlled environments wearing
tight fitting clothes, and be confronted for a shot on an animal and they
are not prepared for the angle of the shot or the bulky clothing they are
wearing.
It is better to be over prepared than under prepared. You may only get a
shot at the once in a lifetime buck one time! So be ready!
